Terrace of four early C19 cottages in local chequered brick with light headers
and Welsh slate roof. Plan arranged in two pairs each around double sided
hearth, two rooms downstairs, two upstairs. Two storeys. Each cottage except
No. 52 has door and ground floor window under slightly cambered heads, and two
first floor windows. Windows have Yorkshire casements with glazing bars.
