Pair of headstones. Both of limestone. Both face E. S headstone: "Here
lyeth ye body of Ann, ye wife of Tho Edward of Croyden, died Aug 24 1706."
Roughly oval shaped inscription panel surrounded by deeply carved foliate
scrollwork. Scrollwork of top cresting includes a skull. N headstone: "Mary
ye wife of John Tid was buried May 27 1700. She was daughter of Thomas
Edwards & Ann his wife. Such as I am so must you therefore prepare to
follow." Deeply carved scrollwork surround and cresting, the cresting
including skull and cross-bones, coffin lid and hour-glass.
