Row of houses, all with shops to ground floor. Early C19. Red brick, nos 9
and 10 with chequerwork patterning of vitrified headers. May incorporate
earlier structure. Slate roofs. 6 window facade in slightly irregular
arrangement. 2 storeys. Ground floor has C20 shop fronts, and square-headed
carriage arch between nos 10 and 11. First floor has 5 flush sashes under
gauged brick heads. Those to nos 9 and 11 retain glazing bars, those to no.
10 without glazing bars. No. 11 has first floor canted oriel to RH, with
sashes with glazing bars in reeded pilaster surrounds surmounted by modillion
cornice. Rendered multiple stack to no. 9, red brick ridge stack to no. 10.
Nos. 9 and 10 included for group value.
