Mill. Early C19 with late C19 additions and alterations. Earlier part has
inscribed bricks: "W.P.", "G.Bally 1825", "R.P." and "C.H.". Earlier part has
gault brick ground floor and weatherboarding to upper floors. Later parts are
of gault brick. Slate roofs. Original block of 3 storeys and attics, later 4-
storeyed block to N. Main block: sash windows with glazing bars in moulded
surrounds, in asymmetrical arrangement. Plank doors, 2 each to ground and first
floors. Sack hoist projects from attic, R of centre. Said to retain overshot
wheel and machinery. Late C19 boilerhouse to rear has tall square- section
chimney with diamond patterning in red brick. LH block: 3-window range. All
sash windows with glazing bars, all under red brick cambered heads.
