II
Farmhouse. Late Cl7, 2 storeys, grey brick with red brick dressings and vertical
strips to main facade and horizontal bands to rear and side. Old tile roof,
flanking and corner chimney. L shaped plan with later extension forming further
arm at right angles again. South and west elevations of main are of 'L' blank.
Vertical sliding sash window and door to west elevation of subsidiary arm of 'L'.
East elevation of main arm has 3 mullioned and transomed timber casements with
leaded lights under rubbed brick arches with key stones on ground floor, lst floor
string course and door with square fanlight under flat hood. South elevation,
lesser arm, 2 windows, mullioned and transomed on 1st floor, 3 light casements
on ground floor, end furthest to east is C19 extension running to north, with
2 storey cant bay window on northern elevation.
