C16 altered C17. Red brick and flint, rendered. Old tile roof and small lantern
entrance. Door to west with lozenge datestone over "1593 TV" (Tanfield Vachel).
Interior is lined with nests on curved chamfered planks separated by blocks
of stone, one of which, being a patterned tile is said to come from Reading
Abbey. The potence is retained.
