1810 by Richard Billing, Senior. 3 storey, basement and attic terrace. Brick
with stucco string at 1st floor level and smaller string about 2 foot 6 inches
above. Small brick cornice string formed by a course of 4½ inch headers and
a course of brickwork over, projecting. Parapet with stone coping. Slate
roof. Each house has 2 semi-circular headed dormer windows with radiating glazing
bars to sashes. 2 ranges of windows, glazing bar sashes, 1st floor tall with
floor level cills, segmental headed recesses and elliptical curved balconies
of wrought iron with cast lead ornament. Recessed doorway, 6 panel door with
flanking fluted Greek Doric columns supporting key pattern frieze and segmental
radiating fanlight. The upper windows of these houses are grouped in pairs
giving a rhythm of 2-blank-2-blank etc.
