Probably mid C18. Altered and modernised. Older probably C17 house incorporated.
3 storeys. Silver grey brick headers with red dressings. Cornice removed,
reduced to string with low parapet. 3 windows on upper floors, glazing bar
sashes. Early C19 shop front removed and replaced by modern replica: central
doorway, projecting piers with Soanian incisions, 6 panel door with radiating
fanlight and pediment, flanking recessed glazing bar bows with outer pilasters.
Cast-iron rainwater box to east, part retaining Soanian incisions. Interior
remodelled but retains staircase with turned balusters, ball finials and pendants
to newels.
