Public house. Mid C17 with C18, mid C19 and mid C20 additions. Timber framed
with later brick and rendered facing, and later brick and rendered additions.
Old tile roof, hipped to left. 2 framed bays with wing to rear, central wing
to front with first floor cross window in gable end, and 2 flanking lower wings
with planted timbers in gable ends. 2 storeys with one storey additions at
front. End stack to right, 2 stacks flanking central gabled wing, and 2 stacks
flanking C20 addition at front. 2 ground, floor 5-light leaded casements
beneath outer gable ends flanking recessed porch containing central boarded door
with 2 flanking windows.Interior a complete C17 timber frame remains beneath
later additions.
