Direction stone. 1754 date. Bollard-like dressed freestone
block with domed head, set into a niche to a grouted rubble
wall. Crude carving of bird over inscription.
Left-hand side: "The way to the Old King's Arms and Exeter
Inn". Right-hand side: "To Old Town Gate 1754".
