Towpath bridge, situated between Southampton Bridge, Oval Road
(not included) and Hampstead Road Lock, Camden High Street
(qv), carrying path over canal inlet to a private dock within
The Interchange (qv). 1848-56. Manufactured by J Deeley and
Co, Newport, Monmouthshire, whose name appears on the bridge.
Single span of cast-iron with stone capped abutments; granite
setts on approach ramps relaid 1978. Many tow rope grooves on
handrail, iron strapping and stone capping.
