Terrace of 6 houses. 1849-54, restored c1972 by LB Camden as a
rehabilitation scheme. Yellow stock brick (with later
patching) and rusticated stucco ground floors. End houses
slightly taller. 3 storeys and cellars. 2 windows each, No.25
with 1 window return to Penryn Street. Round-arched doorways
with pilaster-jambs carrying cornice-heads; fanlights and
panelled doors. No.25 with prostyle portico on Penryn Street
return. End houses (Nos 20 & 25) with architraved sashes;
No.20 1st floor with console bracketed cornices. Nos 21-24,
gauged brick flat arches to recessed sashes. All 1st floor
windows with continuous cast-iron balconies. Parapets.
