Was a Steam Mill, Late C19 on site of Post Mill, now in light industrial use,
2 storeys and attic. Grey slate roof with 2 Storey extension to right.
Brick build with the central, gabled hoist loft, timber framed and
weatherboarded with straight braces and central windows. 3 range to first
floor, 2 range ground floor of small paned iron windows with segmental brick
arches. Central board door with lights above. Extension to right is
weatherboarded with sliding shutters to ground foor windows and one window above
There is a small lean-to addition to left with a plain board door and grey
slate roof. (See Batsford East Anglia Guide to Industrial Archaeology p.88).
