House C15/C16 or earlier of several builds with later additions and alterations.
Red plain tile roof with central gable. H plan and left extension and hipped
right extension. Gabled dormer with ornate barge board to centre range. Timber
framed and plastered, jettied to left return. 2 storeys 2:1:1:1 window range
of various casements, including 3 C19 transome windowed bays to ground floor.
Shaped left and central red brick chimney stacks, and a truncated two shaft
octagonal chimney stack on square base. There are good internal features,
including moulded and chamfered ceiling beams and original mullions and doors,
etc. RCHM 9.
