Pair of cottages. C18 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof. 2 gabled dormers. Central
plastered chimney stack. One storey and attics. 4 window range of 2-light
small paned casements. Right and left doorways central to each pair of
windows, simple surrounds, gabled porches on brackets. Left single storey
lean-to extension with vertically boarded door. There was at one time the date
1770 in plaster on the front wall. Large restored inglenook fireplace to No. 2.
