Built circa 1600 but greatly altered especially in the C18 and C19. A red
brick front of 2 storeys and attics. One:three:one window range of double-hung
sashes with glazing bars, in shallow reveals. The centre block of 3 window
range projects forward from the wings on the east and west sides, each of one
window range and with a parapet and cornice. The centre block has a hipped
slate roof and the wings are tiled, hipped behind the parapets, with one hipped
dormer. The east wing has a large chimney stack with offsets (formerly external)
part of which is original. The interior has a C17 panelled room and carved
fireplace and overmantle. (RCHM 7A).
