Late C15 timber-framed and plastered building, probably formerly almshouses.
Two storeys. The upper storey is jettied on the south-east front and the north-east
end, with a fine moulded bressummer supported on curved brackets, wall posts
and some remains of moulded capitals. At the east end there is a fine angle
post with a large moulded capital. At the north-east end there is a ground
storey oriel window with leaded casements with C15 capping and support. The
windows on the front are casements and horizontal sliding sashes. The ground
storey has an original doorway (blocked with a window inset. Roofs thatched,
with 3 central chimney stacks. (RCHM 9).
