CLAVERING Orchard Farm (formerly listed as Coldhams Farmhouse)

C18 timber-framed and plastered house standing on the moated site of an earlier
Manor House. A circular moat surrounds the house which is approached by a
brick arched bridge. Two storeys and attics. Five window range of modern
casements. A central doorway has a moulded architrave and cornice hood. Roof
tiled, mansard, with end chimney stacks and three flat headed dormers on the front.
