House. Early C19 or earlier. Red brick in Flemish bond, mainly plastered,
roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Double range plan facing NE. One internal
stack at left end of rear range, and 2 internal stacks symmetrically arranged
between the ranges. 2 single-storey ancillary ranges extending to rear, of
which the right is roofed with handmade red clay pantiles. The right end of the
rear range, and one ancillary range, are angled to align with Mill Lane. 2
storeys and cellar. 2 full-height bows with at each floor early C19 sashes of
8-12-8 lights, and on the first floor, a central early C19 sash of 12 lights.
Central 6-panel door with panelled reveals, fanlight with radial glazing bars,
and open pediment on scrolled and carved brackets. Plain parapet. The front
and side elevations are plastered, the rear elevation is of exposed brick. Roof
of front range concealed by parapet, roof of rear range gambrel, hipped at right
end.
