TL41NE LITTLE HALLINGBURY GASTON GREEN

4/69 The Stables, Gaston House

GV II

House converted from stables. Late C18, early C19. 1 1/2 storeys.
A rectangular red brick building with a staggered 2 level gable end roof
of red pantiles. Dentilled eaves to gable ends and to both roof levels
are carried through as an ornamental band to front and rear of building
forming a pediment and open pediment. There is a raised brick plinth and
centre band. Door is set in a central projecting panel, within a double
round headed arch. Round headed small paned windows to left, right and
above doorway.
