House. C15/C16 origin with C18 and later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and parget plastered. Red plain tiled roof. 3 red brick chimney stacks
to north range, one stack to east range. L plan. A fire destroyed part of the
northern range. 2 storeys. North face. Roof hipped to right. 3 small paned
vertically sliding sashes to first floor, right and left C19 bays to ground
floor. Central 4 panel 2 light door, moulded surround with corner patera,
moulded frieze and flat canopy. West face, 3 window range of small paned
casements, full length red tiled verandah, 2 tall tripartite windows with
central glazed door with side lights. Interior features include moulded and
stopped bridging joists to north range. Stick staircase with wreathed handrail.
Reveal panels to some windows. Moulded surrounds to some panelled doors.
Vertically boarded doors with beaded edges, several with original ironmongery.
Chamfered jowled storey posts. C18 moulded segmental arches to landing and
kitchen. RCHM 3.
