C12 with C13, C14 and C19 alterations and extensions. Flint and ragstone
rubble, with Reigate dressings. Plain tiled roofs. C12 nave, has 2 centred
recess with C19 lancet in north wall, and a C19, 2-light window, re-using
C14 materials. C12 north doorway has arched head and plastered tympanum.
South arcade of circa 1260, with segmental pointed arches. Circular central
column, with moulded capital and base. Chancel is largely a rebuild of C14.
East wall has C19 windows. South wall has C13 arch. Mid C13 south chapel
has C19 windows in east wall, retaining original rear arches. C19 windows
in south wall. Late C13 west window of one trefoiled light. C19 windows
to second stage. Bell chamber has 4 late C13 windows. Stair and floors
are all original work. Nave roof is crown post on flat tie beam. Remaining
roofs are C19. North door has C12 ironwork, remounted. Pulpit of 1611 with
wrought iron hourglass stand. Numerous brasses.
