House. Said to be C15 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Hall house with crosswings. 2 external red
brick chimney stacks to left return of left (north) wing and a stack to ridge of
higher level right (south) range. The left crosswing is jettied at first floor
level as are the central and right gables. 2 storeys and attics. 3 first
floor, 2 ground floor and one right gable various windows, including cross
transomed 3 light leaded casements with pightle hinges. Plastered gabled porch
between the 2 ground floor windows, blocked round headed doorway with lugs, 4
panelled 2 light door. Said to contain original moulded beams and some roof
construction. RCHM 7.
