Cottage, late C17/early C18, timber framed and plastered with gabled peg tile
roof and slate and brick lean-to at rear. Off-centre red brick, ridge line
chimney stack and 2 gabled dormers on west face of roof. Exposed simple timber
frame with straight bracing and mutilated half stair newel of early C17 as
decorative fixture over original front door opening, windows are C20 casements
in old openings. Very complete structure of 3 bay plan form. Large 2 storey,
C20 extension on north end.
