GV II

House, now 2 dwellings. C15 or earlier, C20 rear range. Timber framed and
rough rendered. Red plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to right, this return
formerly jettied. Off centre red brick chimney stack. 2 storeys. 4 window
range of C19 style 3 and 4 light casements with centre transoms, central and
left C20 porch extensions. Internal features to right cottage include original
segmental door head to rear wall, halved arch bracing to walls. Arched brace to
first floor tie beam and mortices for similar former ground floor braces. No
access to left (west) cottage at time of re-survey.
