House. Early C18. Red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with handmade red clay
tiles. Rectangular plan facing NW, with external stacks at both ends. C20
single-storey extension to right, and C20 2-storey extension to rear of right
end. 2 storeys. Ground floor, 2 C18 4-light windows each with 2 wrought iron
casements, and 2 fixed lights in similar style, all with rectangular leaded
panes. First floor, 4 C18 3-light windows each with one wrought iron casement,
with rectangular leaded panes. Central C20 door. Brickwork of front repaired
above first-floor level, including window arches. Curvilinear parapet gables.
At rear of main building, 2 similar fixed lights on the ground floor and 2
similar 3-light windows on the first floor. Other C18 casement windows have
been reset in the C20 rear extension. Shown as Brick House on Chapman and
André's map of 1777.
