Structure which adjoined C15 New Inn, demolished about 1842; similar plan
to Cobblers except for rear wing shown as 1802 plan. L-shaped 2 storey
house with roughcast clading and stone slate roof. Part of the frontage
is to the road and the return wall faces east. 1 window bay to road, sash
windows 3 panes wide; in east facing return 2 sash windows with glazing
bars. Entrance in narrow south facing wall to rear; early C19 doorcase
with moulded architrave and diagonal enrichment to frieze; sash window
with glazing bars intact above it.
All the listed buildings on the North Side of Greenhill from Newell Cottage
to Belmont: and on the South Side from Delta to premises occupied by Godden
and Curtis form a group.
