GV II
House, of uncertain origin though appears largely late C18. Ashlar
and coursed, squared rubble. Tiled, gable-ended roof with stone
coping. Ashlar end and central stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 4-window
range. Sashes with glazing bars. Half-hipped, tiled porch.
Weathered string course. South-east elevation has a ccrbel table,
probably taken from Eastbury House (by Vanbrugh). North-west end
has an addition once used as a Wesleyan meeting room. Internal
features (RCHM): some probably C17, chamfered beams.
