Pair of small houses, now one, with attached stableblock. Early C19 with later
C19 addition. Tooled, coursed, squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and
raised gritstone quoins. Hipped stone slate roof with lead flashings and large
stone ridge end stacks, also a stone side wall stack to west. Plinth and coved
eaves cornice to main part of house, castellated parapets to western addition.
Two storeys, two bay building of L-plan with western addition. Northern street
elevation has two adjoining flush quoined doorcases with continuous moulded
hoods and panelled doors. To either side, glazing bar sashes in flush surrounds.
To west, in recessed addition, a C20 casement in flush surround. Similar windows
in same arrangement above. East elevation has similar single doorcase to centre
and similar sashes either side and above to south. Upper northern sash replaced
by C20 window. To south rendered stableblock with segmental headed archway, doorcase
and window. Above glazing bar sash in flush surround with hayloft opening to
south and inserted C20 window to north.
