Non-Conformist Chapel. 1806, with later remodelling and
extensions of 1901. Ashlar coal measures sandstone, with ashlar
dressings, coped gables terminating in crocketed finials to the
front elevation, and a Welsh slated roof. Wide two bay main
structure with gabled front to road and with a plain band course
linking with the finials to the corners. Advanced central porch
with gabled front, with copings and finials to corners and band
course linking finial bases to corners. Central doorway with
semi-circular arched head with keyblock, double panelled doors
and a semi-circular arched fanlight with Y-tracery glazing bars.
A plaque with the date of the addition of the porch is set
within the apex of the gable. Flanking the porch are tall
semi-circular headed windows with keyblocks and Y-tracery
glazing bars. The apex of the main front carries an inscribed
plaque which reads 'WESLEYAN 1806'.
