PLAN: L-shaped on plan, with eight bays per range.
DESCRIPTION: The east range has a central doorway with a massive quoined surround and lintel dated 1826, with various irregular window and small door openings. There are stone stairs to either end of the east range. There are a series of ventilation holes below eaves and a simple projecting cornice. The west range is of a similar configuration.
Callow Hall and Callow Hall Barns were listed on 11 August 1983. Callow Hall was listed at Grade 2*, and Callow Hall Barns at Grade 2. An amendment to the List entries was carried out on 14 January 1994, which resulted in the List entries for the two buildings mistakenly being interchanged.
Callow Hall Barns are listed at Grade 2 for the following principal reasons:
* Architectural Interest: An L-shaped vernacular range, which has not suffered alteration.
* Historic Interest: As examples of early-C19 farm buildings.
* Group Value: The barns have group value with Callow Hall.
