Upper Hallfields Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Mid C17.Coursed rubblestone with gritstone dressings. Tiled roof
with stone coped gables with kneelers and ball finials. C20 brick gable end
stacks. Two storeys. Off-centre gabled porch with ball finials formerly at
the west end this was rebuilt in its present position in 1974. Modern glazed
door. 3-light chamfered mullioned windows with horizontal dripstones, one
window to right of porch, two to left. Three similar windows above. One
blocked single light window on left on first floor. Single storey west wing
with all windows renewed in C20.
