House. C18 with C19 refashioning. Coursed squared gritstone front, rendered rubble elsewhere, with quoins, plain gables, intermediate and end ashlar ridge stacks, stone slates and plain clay tiles. L- plan. Two storeys, three bays, with two-light flush mullioned windows, beneath semi-circular heads, with keyblocks, and with single glazing bar sashes. Single light opening above doorway, both openings with semi-circular heads and keyblocks, doorway with plain planked door. Single storey lean-to to south west end with stone slated roof. Formerly the parish poorhouse.
