Farmhouse and barn under continuous roof. C17, remodelled and extended in C18.
Coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, quoins, coped gables with
moulded kneelers, chamfered eaves band, reconstructed intermediate and end ridge
stacks, and C20 concrete tiles (formerly stone slate). 'T' plan with rear wing
and east end added in C18. South elevation; three storeys, irregular fenestration,
generally 2-light flush mullions with extended heads and cills, and C20 glazing.
Former 4-light chamfer mullion window to second floor, now with single mullion and
glazing bar casements. Two doorways, with massive surrounds. 2-light chamfer
mullioned window to north elevation. Attached to west end, band, barn of rubble
limestone with gritstone dressings, quoins, chamfered eaves band, coped west gable
with moulded kneelers and C20 concrete tile roof. West elevation; irregular
facade with stone surrounds to door and window openings. Interior has three
debased king post trusses with curved principals, and trenched, double
purlins to carry former stone slated roof.
