Lodge house. c1900 by George Bodley, built for Mrs Sacheverell Bateman.
Ashlar sandstone with sandstone dressings and steeply pitched plain tile
roof with external stone gable stacks. Plinth and first floor stringcourse.
Single storey plus attics and two bays. Neo-Tudor style. Central chamfered
doorcase with C20 door flanked by 3-light recessed and chamfered mullion
window to west and similar 5-light window to east. Above, two full, gabled
dormers with 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows. C20 addition
to rear.
