Gate piers and gates to
Alderwasley Hall, to the north
of the Old Vicarage

A pair of gate piers. Late C18. Ashlar gritstone piers, square in plan, each
pier with V-shaped rustication above a plain base, a fluted frieze with central
patera to each face, and a moulded projecting cap, without a finial. Ornamental
cast iron gates with urn finials to hinge bar and intermediate crossrail, and
spear heads to remaining railings.
