and Gateway East of
the Old Rectory

Front garden boundary walls and gateway to The Old Rectory (qv). Probably
late C18 or early C19. Local slate rubble with rounded pitched slate
copping. The walls enclose a large front garden, rounded on plan at the
front where the walls curve back to a central gateway. The gateway is
slightly higher than the wall and has slate capping, a dressed slate round
arch, and chamfered plinths to the piers. The plank door is later. The
ground level outside to the right is lower than the garden inside.
