Crooks Cottage and

Pair of Cottages. Probably C18 with C19 alterations and C20 internal
alterations. Roughcast stone rubble. Asbestos tile roof with gabled ends,
Fishermans Cottage to the right has been bitumen coated. Rendered gable
end stacks with louvred yellow-clay pots.
Plan: Pair of cottages. Crooks Cottage to the left is slightly larger than
Fishermans Cottage to the right. Each with one principal front room and
possibly service rooms behind and pair of entrances at the centre.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3-window south front, the
windows disposed slightly towards the right. Tall circa mid C19 2-light
casements with 3 panes per light the ground floor left hand window has 8
panes per light. Pair of central doorways under a C19 flat canopy, the
left hand doorway has a late C19 or early C20 panelled and glazed door, the
right hand is a C20 glazed door. Rear elevation was not inspected.
Including front garden area walls and railings. Circa mid to late Cl9,
stone rubble wall with painted brick piers and iron railings with spear
heads to the shafts.
Interior was not inspected.
