Cottage. Probably C18 with C20 extension at rear. Roughcast rendered stone
rubble and at cob. Thatched roof half-hipped on left and gabled on right.
Projecting rendered stack on right hand end with slate weathering.
Plan: One-room plan cottage heated from a stack on the right hand gable end
and probably originally with direct entry through the doorway on the front
to left of centre. In C20 a single storey extension was built at the back
and a conservatory added to the right hand end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 1-window range. C20 2-light casement to
left of centre under the eaves. Very small late C19 or C20 fixed light
ground floor window with leaded panes on right. Doorway to left of centre
with late C19 or C20 glazed door and wooden lattice porch with semi-circular
canopy. Projecting stack and C20 single storey extension.
Interior: Exposed ceiling joists. Blocked fireplace has cambered timber
lintel. First floor and roof space were not inspected.
