Farmhouse. C16/17. Date 1629 with initials MR on stone tablet in north gable end.
Stone rubble with granite ashlar. Asbestos slate roof with gabled ends. Roof at
lower (south) end is at lower level and clad in asbestos sheet. One and a half
storeys. Four window range. Ground floor three chamfered granite mullion two and
three-light windows with hood moulds. Two gabled dormers with late C19 casements.
Large stone porch to left with roll moulded 4 centred arch granite inner doorway.
Large granite chimney stack off centre to right of doorway and brick chimney stack at
gable end. Cob wing at rear at higher end forming L-shaped plan. In the angle a
stair projection with splayed corner.
The lower end almost from the cross passage,has been demolished.
Interior: Stopped chamfer ceiling beams. Wooden ovolo moulded doorways from hall to
stairs and parlour. Wooden newel stairs. Collar-braced roof trusses.
