Detached cottage, situated on bank above road. Circa late C17. Roughcast stone rubble. Thatched roof with gabled ends and eyebrow eaves. Two storeys. Two/three window range. C20 casements with glazing bars. Glazed door to left of centre. On front wall to right, a large stone chimney stack. Another smaller red brick stack at opposite (north west) gable end.
Interior: stopped chamfered ceiling beams and joists.
