2 adjoining cottages, left side also incorporates shop and was formerly 2 cottages.
Probably Cl7. Whitewashed rendered cob and rubble. Thatch roof with end bay
tiled, formerly blacksmiths shop. 2 large rubble stacks to rear enclosed in slated
outshut, axial stack and stack at right gable end with drip and tapered top.
Single room deep. 2 storeys 6-window range of 2-light casements 6 panes each.
Canted bay window to left end with tiled roof, 4 lights 6 panes each light. Two 2-
light casements 6 panes each light flank C20 porch with tiled roof gabled porch
with tiled roof to right hand cottage with 3-light casement, 8 panes each light to
left and 4-paned fixed light inserted in blocked doorway to right. Tiled extension
has 3-light shop window and stable door under continuous lintel. Original roof
trusses appear to be intact but no access to roofspace. Internal partitions much
altered.
