Cottage. C18. Rendered stone and cob. Thatch roof, half-hipped with brick stack
at left enc and stone rubble stack to right end with tapered cap, heightened in
brick.
Possibly originally 2-room and cross-passage plan, but partition removed and now
direct entry into right-hand room, which has staircase to rear right corner.
2 storeys. 2-window range. C19 2-light casements, 6 panes per light to each floor
flanking leanto slate roof to porch with plank inner door. Leantos at each end,
coal shed to right with slate roof, that to left with tiled roof.
Interior late C18/early C19 joinery largely intact. Boxed in beam to right-hand
room. Formerly known as Higher Huish.
