Bank barn. Circa 1830-40. Stone rubble with stone dressings. Corrugated asbestos
roof with gable ends. Slate roof to horse-engine house.
Rectangular plan bank barn over a cart-shed open to lower ground level to front and
with a polygonal-sided horse-engine house house at higher ground level at rear.
2 storeys. Winnowing door above cart entrance flanked by 2 smaller doorways. All
openings have segmental dressed stone arches. 2 pigeon holes to each side of
winnowing door. Double plank doors to rear. 2 tapering stone rubble piers
supporting polygonal-sided horse-engine house roof with vertical timber boarded
infilling.
