Small house. Probably early C18. Whitewashed rendered cob on stone rubble footings;
thatched roof, gabled at ends; left end stack with stone shaft and semi-circular bread
oven.
Plan: Single depth 2 room plan house, a larger heated room to the left, an unheated
service room to the right. The house is now entered through a rear right porch but
formerly had a front door on the front facing the stair.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4 window front, the eaves thatch eyebrowed over
the 2 first floor windows which are 4-pane late C19 or C20 sashes. 3 similar ground
floor windows to the left, one C20 window to the right.
Interior: Plain, with no exposed carpentry.
Roof X apex C18 pegged trusses with the collars halved on to the rafters which are
halved at the apex.
