NY 74 SE ALSTON MOOR NENTHEAD

7/76 Ivy House

G.V. II

House, originally built for mine agent by London Lead Co. c1825. Coursed,
squared rubble, lime-washed. Graduated slate roof has corniced stone end
chimneys; two C20 dormer windows in outshut to rear. Symmetrical 2-storey 3-bay
front has central part-glazed door in rusticated surround and sashes in stone
surrounds.
