Farmhouse mid C19. Plastered cob walls to first floor with brick-nogged pine frame
above, rendered brick stacks, slate roof. Long main block facing south and gabled
rear block at right angles cut into hillside. Two storeys throughout. Front block
with gable-end stacks six-window front with main door left of centre; a six-panel,
rectangular fanlight with central bar and margin glazing bars and pine doorcase on
which pilasters and entablature have cented sides, the pilasters with broad, beaded
flutes and honeysuckle capitals. Secondary six-panel door with plain rectangular
fanlight to right. Timber sashes 6 panes per sash above doors. The rest are
timber sashes 8 panes per sash with horns on ground floor. Cob garden wall
adjoining right end has stone mounting block on outside. Interior not inspected.
