Farmhouse, formerly 2 cottages. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings;
stone rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatch roof. Originally a pair of 1-room
plan cottages facing east with central axial chimney stack serving back-to-back
fireplaces. Now converted to farmhouse and with late C19-early C20 single storey
store set back from front on right (northern) end.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front of late C19-early C20 casements and flanking
outer doorways, each now with a C20 porch gabled and tile-roofed to left and
monopitch-roofed of corrugated plastic to right. Roof is hipped each end. Store
set back on right end has hipped thatched roof.
Interior shows some plain carpentry detail. Left room has plain chamfered crossbeam
and rubble fireplace with plain oak lintel. Roof not inspected.
