Stables and linhays. Early C19. Partly plastered, partly exposed cob on rubble
footings; slate roof.
L-shaped building around west side and north-western corner of farmyard and facing
into it. Stables and tack room at left (south) end of western side. Stables have
2 doors with small unglazed window between. Tack room door at left end is now
blocked and replaced by a door and 2-light window on left end, the window still
containing some leaded diamond panes. The high roof is hipped at end. Rest of
west side occupied by an 11-bay linhay returning along north side with a 9-bay
linhay. Both are Alcocks Type T1 with full height timber posts. Haylofts mostly
protected by horizontal planks. Roof of A-frame trusses with pegged and bolted
lap-jointed collars. Dilapidated state of repair.
