Substantial detached house now divided into 2 dwellings. Early C19. Stucco,
blocked to resemble ashlar, with hipped asphalted slate roofs. Rectangular central
staircase plan, with 2 principal rooms, heated by axial stacks, one to either side
of front entrance hall, and service rooms to rear. 2 storeys.
Front: symmetrical 3-window range; 2-light casement windows to first floor, that to
the centre narrower but of equal height to the others; 3 panes per light with margin
panes. Ground floor: one 2-light French window, 4 panes per light with margin
panes, to either side of central porch. Porch with open pediment and broken
entablature, 2 Tuscan columns and pilasters. Panelled door; semi-circular fanlight
with radiating glazing bars and margin panes. Moulded gutter box with lions' masks.
Extending to the right of the front is a low wall terminating in a pilaster
surmounted by a stone ball, and a 2-light late C20 casement window inserted. All
windows elsewhere are either plain C19 casements, or late C20 replacements.
